Happiness Week is designed to help our campus community engage with each other, stay active, and embrace everyday experiences that elevate our mood. URWELL Employee invites you to the following events for our 6th Annual Happiness Week.
Free Ice Cream
Monday, September 20 | 1-4 PM
All employees and students are invited to kick off Happiness Week with a sweet treat! Take a break and pick up a free ice cream at the following locations:
- University Forum (Rain Location: Gotwald Conference Room D100)
- Milhiser Green (Rain Location: Well-being Center Lobby)
- UR Facilities Building Parking Lot (Rain Location: Wilton Center Multi-Faith Room)
Wellness One Notes: Micro Moves for Better Health

All employees are invited to this webinar from your Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Wellness is more than a great check-up. All aspects of your being – mind, body, and spirit – interact and impact your health and well-being. When it comes to making lifestyle and habit changes to support this big picture, small moves can be the way to go. From sleep strategies to social connections, join us to find your small steps to wellness.
Well-being Center Employee Open House & Corporate 5K Packet Pick-Up
Wednesday, September 22 | 1-5 PM | Well-being Center Lobby & Patio
All students and employees are invited to come learn about all the facilities and services the University's new Well-being Center has to offer!
- Stop by the Welcome Desk for a tour of the Well-being Center from 1-3 PM
- The Salt Therapy room will have drop-in hours from 1-5 PM. Chairs are available within the salt therapy room on a first come, first serve basis.
- And if you're an employee planning to participate in the Corporate 5k (see registration below), now's the time to pick up your race packet.
Annual Sportsbackers Corporate 5k
Thursday, September 23 | Event starts 5 PM | Race starts 6:30 PM | Innsbrook Office Park
Run, walk, or cheer on your teammates at the Annual Corporate Run! Registration, food, refreshments, and a UR team t-shirt (in addition to a Sports Backers t-shirt) are all provided by URWELL Employee! Registration is open to the first 200 employees.
